The three banners make up a vast and regular rectangle, suspended just above the heads of those who enter. Of particular interest is the perspective situation, it is as if Marco Baldicchi wanted to make the problem of spatial depth coincide with the depth of time. The rationality for the display of the images lends power to their new iconic value. The use of unclear photographic images and light mobile supports in the space - the sheets remind one of the worn and everyday but also of the sacred given the presence in the space of the Deposition of Luca Signorelli– creates a painful sense of instability.
